Yeah, I got that too and registered my account. I heard Nebraska is slow too, but hopefully they pick up the pace and start processing quicker. My case went to Texas.

Ah your lucky!! I heard it's faster! The Potomac one is really fast... Last time I checked they only update the dates of my processing times... I heard I means they passed you to another desk.. And its been 70 days nothing changed

Yeah, hopefully things move quick. And yeah, I saw that the processing times are Potomac are much quicker. I wish we had gotten Potomac. Lol. I also noticed some changes in the updated dates. My last update was  last month. I wasn’t sure what it meant. If it means even the slightest bit of progress, then that’s great.

ikr!! seems like most of the time that we've been waiting= our cases are sitting on someone's desk. Apparently they are under staffed.... so the change of dates basically means the case move from one person's desk to another......

This is true - but now I guess with everyone getting IOEs and that you can file the whole thing online, that its just sitting on a server somewhere.  And hopefully that means the times between all service centers level out as they get through the paper ones, etc...   Are you living in HK now?

Exactly! I don’t think it takes much time to go through each case and make a decision, but things just move too slowly. Even a few years ago processing times were quicker. I don’t know why it takes so long now and why they are so understaffed. It’s really frustrating to have to wait so long to be with our loved ones. And yeah, hopefully our cases move desks quicker.

  • 2 weeks later...

My status just got updated from "It is being processed at our integrated operating Env location" to "It is being processed at our E-filed case processing section location". Does it mean they changed my service center?

No, it just means they’ve renamed the electronic processing service

What difference does it make? Does it mean that my file is  getting closer for being reviewed? Or it's pretty much stays in the same status...?

I checked my case status and saw the same change, but the last updated date hasn’t changed. I’m not sure if it means anything, but I’m assuming they probably just changed the name of the processing location to be more clear.

Same.... everyone had the same thing yesterday so it’s not anything that’s changed on anyone’s case as they would be reviewing everyone on the same day

Has anyone who filed in September received their NOA2 yet? Also, someone suggested to me that I call them and ask for an update other than the "in process" one in the account. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks in advance :)
