I have just received the same error today.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of State found an error in your case that prevented its transfer to the National Visa Center (NVC) in a timely manner.

We are working with USCIS to correct the error so that we can receive your case information. If you do not receive your NVC Welcome Notice within 30 days, please contact us again.

This whole process is horribly annoying.

Ya sounds like they are just trying to buy some time, contractors were probably told to fire off this generic reply without really looking into what's going on, hope I am wrong though.

Should we try calling USCIS and check if they can fix the problem?

I did, they won't do anything until its 45 days and I am afraid if I call back after that, they will just say give it upto 3 months. I am just so frustrated.

Problem is for us, case is already sent to NVC as shown in our accounts but still thr is nothing from them. So USCIS might just put the blame on NVC.

I have been asking lawyer to do something too but she’s not doing anything either and just using the excuse that wait for 45 days

Is the NVC 45 working days or just 45 days? I got my approval from USCIS May 8th and they keep telling me all I can do is just keep filing inquiries on nvc research.

I just talked to NVC and they got my case on June 30th, but it's not entered into the system yet as they are working on cases received on June 22nd onwards. My theory is something was wrong with transfer, NVC sent it back to USCIS, they corrected and sent it back by mail, if it was electronic I would've received welcome email on 30th.

This is a bit of stress relief. Finally something that gives us hope, means you will get it by next week for sure 🤞🏻

You called them and got all this info?
