I think I am now getting a better grasp of what this whole IOE system is all about.

 

Guys you can also know ur service center by logging into your USCIS account, the click on the live chat icon.

 

Now a careful study of the attached photo shows that Emma reply simply means IOE cases are already electronic, so Patomac can pick up ur case electronically and start processing it even though ur original NOA1 came from Nebraska.

 

So IOE cases don't really have to be physically transfered from center to center because they are already online to begin with.

 

This is a very good development for those of us that originally started the journey in very slow centers.

How can I open the ask Emma feature in my account?

California service center process spouse cases for USC? 

I’ve been getting different answers from different sources too. I think the SC on the bottom of the message response is the correct one. I also asked Emma and I was told my case was at Potomac. This was after I got a reply to my message in my online account that showed my case was at Texas. I called USCIS again and the representative told me that she is seeing that my case is at Texas. Did you try calling USCIS?

Yes of course.

 

They process transferred USC cases. Those cases will carry their original timeline.
