Someone said that they’re still working on July and haven’t started August yet. I was hoping that they would have processed most of July and started processing August by now.

Hi , how you see That  , in which cases they are working on? When I saw the website today and it’s showing I-130 for texas service center and they are working on June 5 files.

here is the website I’m following

You can filter the timelines on Visa Journey and see which dates have been approved. :) Some Early August filers have already seen approvals.

Hi. From what I’ve seen, the processing times are a little off. I’ve been following the July filers thread on VJ and some groups on FB. I can see from that that they are working on July currently. Also, if you look on Igor’s list, it shows the latest approvals. Here’s the link to that: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php?form=2&visa=3&scenter=3&option=1&sortby=2

Thanks , let me have a look into it. But the USCIS website shown the currently processing is June 5 2019 in texas service center. I’m little confused on this lol . Because which one is the more reliable source

Thank you for your reply! If it’s a denial letter, then your I-130 is probably going to be approved soon. Don’t worry. I don’t think the shadow in the passport should be a big issue. If anything, they’d probably just request a new photo. I hope you get your approval soon! And I hope they pick up the pace and start processing cases faster.

Hi all, I just wanted to follow up. The Texas Service Center sent out of number of intent to deny letters and ours was included. The letter stated that we did not  provide evidence that we submitted an i130. To my knowledge all of us submitted a copy of NOA1 with our packets but we received this letter anyway. Not sure what happened since I am 100% positive I sent it in because I waited to submit the i129f until I received my NOA1.  I just mailed a copy of NOA1 within the timeframe so hopefully they will continue to process our file very soon. Since they seem to be processing July filers right now, we all we likely start to see movement soon on our i130 anyway.

So the USCIS shows the priority date of June 6 2019 as the PD that you can file an inquiry if you have not heard anything about your case. The processing time right now is 6.5-8.5 months. This basically means that all of the files before June 6 should be processed by this date unless they have a RFE or something. This means that they should be processing files way after this date so that’s why you are seeing approvals from July and now a few in August. I hope my explanation makes sense. So if the processing times continue to hold, we should start to see quite a bit of the files completed by March-April. This seems to be in line with the VJ estimates.

I understand. It is confusing. As Jessandmargarito mentioned above, the June 5th processing time is for case enquiries. Those who filed on or before that date should have their approvals by now and can submit an enquiry if they haven’t received it yet. However, they already started working on July cases. Many July filers have already received their approvals according to VJ timelines and FB groups. VJ is pretty reliable in my opinion because people are inputting the dates according to the updates/approvals they get. The only thing is that not all the people who filed are VJ members so we don’t have data from all filers. Also, some people don’t always update their timelines. Other than that, VJ is accurate and a good source to find out the status of the different service centers.

Thanks for updating. Maybe they lost the copy of your NOA1 when putting the documents into the online system. I’ve heard of many cases where documents were lost. Hopefully everything is resolved soon and you get your approval soon. Please keep us posted.
