I just checked processing times and they are still 7.5 to 9.5 months? Faster than any other processing centers.

I have seen many Texas being processed under six months

Any body witness any change in the application

Someone said that they’re still working on July and haven’t started August yet. I was hoping that they would have processed most of July and started processing August by now.

Saw a post on the Facebook Texas immigration group that somebody with a PD of Sept 17 had their case approved today (without expedite)

Any news here?

No news :( I also have a PD of sept 17th and got sent to Potomac (supposedly the fastest processing centre according to USCIS).

I’m seeing from the July filers forum that a lot of people who have PDs dating from the beginning of July are just starting to get approved.

On a different note, are there any Facebook groups for I130 September filers or for Potomac filers?

I saw the same post on FB. I assumed it was an expedited case, but the person said it wasn’t.  It’s great to see progress, but it’s strange how they jumped from July to mid-September.

Yeah July is what I'm seeing too! There might be a Potomac filers group, you'd have to look it up :)

We have a group on this forum for Potomac filers for 2019.

We don't have a lot of details yet, but its a good place for all Potomac center filers to commiserate. We can't really compare ourselves to other centers since their processing times aren't uniform, but Potomac is uniquely gifted in that it appears to actually follow the PD rule, unlike Nebraska and Texas.  Latest NOA1 to be approved that did not involve an expedite or 129f is July 9th.

Anyone know how the Public Charge Rule will affect our applications? My husband and I live abroad, not sure if I should move and get a job in the states before him in order to avoid any issues with perception of a public charge.

From what I read, it should not impact, read for instance the reply in this topic.
