Hi guys, I've just got into the US with my tourist visa while in process of I-130.

Supernovan, can you tell us what the process was like for you at the border? Like, what questions did they ask you? Did you have to provide any documents to prove intent to leave, etc.?

cbro and  Bee91 — we didn't expedite. Our case was received September 17. We did fingerprints in mid-October, and were notified of our interview December 5. No idea why it was so fast. Our receipt says it was processed in the National Benefits Center, so another mystery. We're filing in Massachusetts and both of us live in the US.

Well it was quite simple, the officer just asked about how long were we planning to stay and didn't ask for any prove. The whole process takes likes 2 mins

Hi everyone, I have a question on the I-130 form. The part where it says ''Provide the address in the United States where the beneficiary intends to live''. My husband (Beneficiary) never been in USA before. I am a student and I never own a house/Unit on my own name. I always lived in a rented private rooms. For that reason, I am little confused about what address to put in that part. Can someone please help me with that. Thank you so much!

Put the address where you’re living.

What is happening to Potomac no recent aproval since November

Last approval from Potomac was the 19th of December, however, there were only about three or four total approvals last month and a handful of RFEs issued.

Do you mean just what you can see on this site?

Yeah based on the site. 😕  Its difficult to get anything more accurate than that without having an actual case number from around the beginning of July. Even then, we'll only know which cases are getting approved, not where they are getting approved from. I tried using some other websites that track timelines like this one, but the others aren't nearly as in depth and they seem to be terribly out of date. This one has the best consistent stream of data.

For sure if you are being scientific about it of course.  I've seen people get approved in some FB posts and the forums here, and you must expect they haven't been taking a break since mid Dec, but wish more people kept their timeline data up to date, and that the VJ system had a way to account for expedites or flags to catch for the 129 loophole that helped some folks.  In the end the predictions here do seem to be OK accurate...
