thats odd

here’s some more context:

on the nvc website it said that as of monday september 23rd they were processing documents submitted on august 9th. we submitted our documents on august 6th so i decided to call them on september 23rd to make sure everything was ok. the agent said our documents all appear to be fine and she didn’t know why we hadn’t received an email saying that our case is complete yet. so she said she would forward our case to a supervisor to check. i called them again on wednesday to ask how much longer we should expect to wait and they told me that the wait time for supervisor review is 6 weeks from the 23rd of september. so now we are looking at waiting until the beginning of november just for them to look at our documents

agreed, i don’t know why they even give estimated processing times at all because this all seems completely random and arbitrary.

I agree.

I thought it was going to be easy..

I hate this process because no one ever tells you a date.

Everything in this world tells us.. you'll get your paycheck on this date, or your school exam will be on this date, etc etc.

But this process has people waiting in limbo..

I have another question.

Now I submitted my aos i864 without a lawyer name.. is that ok?I do have a legal representative...

But I am not getting in touch with her.

So I did everything myself.

I think it’s ok

i mean , you just did that by yourself because she is taking days to answer you and you want to move in to the process ASAP  .
if she say something , feel free to explain that to her . Plus I suppose she is still charging fees to you ?

Yes.  She is worst lawyer.  I asked so many questions, not one reply.

I asked about the forms.. she don't reply.

So I can't stick under her like this.

I'll tell her.. but just wanted to make sure it is ok with the NVC

We paid already the fees $930 to her when we filed i130.

She is not charging anymore fees after I guess.  But anyways it's over with us now.

Obviously not a serious lawyer .

do what's good for you that's all that matters.

about NVC , I think it depend on who you chose to be your agent .
if it’s your lawyer maybe it could be good to advise them . Because , if it’s her they gonna send communication about to it case to her ?
just , assures your back

Agree.. not a serious lawyer.

We all wouldn't want to delay our process longer...

I just want to keep time if I get an Rfe at the NVC stage... I don't wish one.. 🤞🏼 but I don't know.. because I'm using my spouse's assets.

I'm still unsure what will be the outcome😬

Make sure you also have your email address set up under CEAC so you can receive the emails from as well. That way you know the status of your case and don't have to rely on the lawyer.
