Oh really?? I hope this does not happen to us too :( just paid AOS and IV fees yesterday, and it says "in process". I did not think it would take more than 3 days to clear and for the payment to be processed.

I have 4 business days since I paid and still in process. I paid my fees at Tuesday and still waiting

Something to share with VJ,

Well today I spoke to a couple from New York,. About a joint sponsor. (I'm not going that route, but still looking out for one in case our asset thing not working)

She told me do you know how much people charge to be a joint sponsor, I said no.  She said $30,000 dollars.

Then she said her charges are, much less.... I said how much, she said, $7000.

I was 😮 ....Then she said you can pay in small amounts.

Sounds fishy to me, having a "business" based off being people's joint sponsors, if I'm understanding right. How are they able to afford sponsoring so many intending immigrants for 10+ years each (assuming they do run a business off of it)? I doubt that they are going to file income tax to the IRS for a "joint sponsor business" to be able to show that income on tax transcripts to be able to sponsor so many.. I don't know, it sounds very dangerous to me

It's scam, or they recruit others to do the paperwork without paying them, and they keep the money. Either way wouldn't that be bordering on the line of fraud

Scam is exactly what I'm thinking. No way they are able to show NVC/embassy proof of enough income to sponsor so many people. That would require them to report the income they make from this "business" which I doubt they would report income from a "joint sponsor business". They probably take the money and then never get back to you again..

It varies from one Embassy/Consulate to the other and depends on workload and availability. I think Casablanca is scheduling interviews 2-3 months after DQ/CC.
