Ask a lawyer about it maybe it is ok with him or if you have any assets you can use them.

SS is NOT a public charge, as someone have insinuated in an earlier post, but that aside, it would be better imo if you find an additional sponsor, to cover you bases. Good luck.

My husband, who is the immigrant, has checking and savings account as assets..

I'm thinking if I can use him..

I had one lady, she ditched me last minute.  She filled everything out, and did her W2, tax etc

Now not anymore.

If you see in the AOS form there is a question about it if you are using assets.

Yes I filled that AOS form for me already.

 

And I uploaded my taxes info. But nothing much of an income from my side. I barely worked.

Not sure if you've seen this but the instructions for the I-864 have a section on using the immigrant's assets (scroll down to part 7, specifically items 6-9, and 10). It looks like as long as his assets are 5x that of the poverty guideline for your household size (since you don't work so your income will be 0) and can be converted into cash within a year, it's totally fine for you to do so.

Our poverty line is 21,137. For 2 people

Hmm.. I wonder if I can just use my husband.  He has over 30 k in account

My husband also has a music teacher job offer in new York.  I'm also going to upload that one.. they say the amount they're offering.

Help!

 

I am submitting i-864 for parents and just added my spouse as household member. I got a message saying request was sent to add house hold member and it says N/A next to spouse's name to add their documents. How long does it take for NVC to add household member so I can submit all documents?

I am getting so sick of waiting. It's been over a month since re-submission and yet I'm seeing people getting DQs when they submitted docs way after me. August 21st was my re-submission, August 2nd was my original submission and 4 docs were rejected of the 21st of August.
