You can print to PDF then upload the PDF.

But I would then merge the PDF so it won't be multiple pages if it's the same document.

For the birth certificate and translation.. I used an online site.. it's called jpg 2 PDF and I combined it.  Are using these sites ok?  Then I downloaded it on my Google drive.

Then uploaded it on NVC.

Before they were jpg.

I tried viewing the documents, some aren't showing.. hmm. I'm going to try viewing from a different device..

They uploaded fine. All are 2mb and smaller.

What I've heard, which is pretty scary, is they're may be dragging their feet (orders from above) so that October 15th kicks in and they can review our cases under the new "public charge" rule! Some lawyers are saying that regardless of when you first file your petition, re-submission or not, if you case is still at NVC (not yet approved) come Oct 15th we're all going under the knife!  I hope that's NOT true, but it's pretty scary stuff! It's called "changing the rules in the middle of the game". Some Dem. Senators, bless their heart, are trying to block the stupid rule, but it's all still up in the air!

This is false.

For peace of mind, please look at this! Postmarked means the day(s) you submit the document, not the days there are approved.

Today I did it.. the uploading.. hmm.

I didn't hit the submit yet.  It takes time but I don't want to just rush it.  I need to make sure everything is good.

I just resized it using an app.. got a free trial  image converter..

I scanned it already but two of the docs were larger than 2 mb

You are right , no rush . It’s better to take time now and do everything good right away like that no RFE or any waste of time waiting for a review

Plus the old form was removed months ago, so anyone at NVC process now will be using the new form. The government website also states that the changes will apply to those starting with USCIS. Hence folks are being urged to submit I-130 before deadline.

Next time try and just create a PDF either using google docs (free) or using Adobe. Reason being, when you upload stuff onto a online converter, you're handing over super precious and confidential information to literally anyone online. Be careful!

Exactly, thank you! Let's avoid the conspiracy theories and not freak everyone out. The last thing we need is the NVC to be more busy than it already is.

So true... I strongly advise anyone not to use any converter online. Look for some open source software that can do it offline or download (if possible) trial version of software. Also, ask relative or friend who can help with this. Whenever my wife sends me anything, she always scan it as a photo. I usually print it as pdf to reduce the size. One time I had to play with importing photo (scanned doc) into MS word. Then, I made the photo letter size (8.5×11), so basically it looked like it was full page scan. Just save that as pdf and you are good to go. You can find tutorials on youtube.

Upon first read of your situation I am not seeing a clear history of a full time job with the same company, showing well over the threshold of income. Just my personal opinion, but if this was my situation I would get a sponsor..I wouldn’t take any chances. 🤷‍♀️

Thank you for your response!

My wife has been employed by the same company/ university (she teaches college classes), since 2014. However, she has not always had a full time position there. She literally teaches full time now but officially, in her payroll system/ in the letter of employement etc., her position is titled  "temporary worker" for some reason. We think this might be a problem if my wife files as a sole sponsor. Or is the current salary only what matters? It is, on the other hand, very new. She just got a new salary this month, for the first time in three years, which would exceed the income requirement for sponsors.

Any ideas? Also, can I, the beneficiary, provide evidence of financial security, e.g. my savings or pay stubs this year?

Thank you beforehand and good luck!

AGAIN. What you've posted above only addresses the versions of I-864 which will be accepted pre and post 10/15. It does not talk about the process itself (i.e. post- submitting your paperwork) and what happens after your submit your I-864. I cannot post Youtube links here (I think), but Youtue is full of videos posted by immigration lawyers stating that no matter when you file your I-130, what matters for the "public charge rule" (PCR) is when your I-864 is actually accepted, not submitted. So even you file a standard I-864 before 10/15, and your case hasn't been approved and accepted by NVC, you could still be subject the new PCR.

just called the nvc. we submitted on august 6th and the nvc website says they are processing documents submitted on august 9th. the agent took a look at our case, said everything seems to be correctly submitted and told me she would forward our case to a supervisor. fingers crossed.

One is directly from USCIS stating that pending applications will continue to be under the old rule, one is from a law site stating the same thing.

Please, this is a good thing. Let’s not scare people into conspiracies and let’s all stay calm.
