Congrats! You got the email on a Saturday? Thats awesome! I submitted on 8/14...there is Hope

Actually I got documentary qualified yesterday September 13th around 7pm U.S time but I’m currently in Saudi Arabia with my husband and saw the email this morning. But on the CEAC I got documentary qualified yesterday Friday so the time difference throws the day off.

Hi everyone,

we finally got our case number on Thursday 12th September. USCIS had sent our case August 8th already. ( We don't know when received at NVC)

I'll hopefully start filling the forms and uploading documents in a few days :)

I have read about your experiences, and the need to be very careful with providing everything clearly. So I'm wondering - should a document in foreign language + certified translation be separate PDFs or one combined PDF? I wouldn't want the officer to look at one and immediately declare original or translation is missing!

Thank you!

Today I received actual physical letter (welcome letter?) from NVC with Case Number and Invoice Number. I thought that now everything was online, just wondering as I have not seen anyone mentioning physical letter in  the forum. I have already submitted all documents today.

We received ours in the mail too

Everything I've seen has said it should be seperate documents. Upload the foreign language/non-English document, then upload the certified translation seperate. In general don't combine PDFs for separate documents.

NVC’s FAQ page says you should combine the original and translation into one file.

Thank you hun. Honestly I don’t know how long it will take for them to transfer my case to the consulate. I hope they did it right away. I have seen people on here and fb get their interviews after two weeks of being documentary qualified. I hope my consulate is like that. Where in the process are you in now? Did you get documentary qualified?
