That's exactly what I did.

Thank!

I have question regarding the photos. I have copies on 8 1/2 x 11 paper of his passport bio page and his passport pics. Now, the pictures are both large, almost taking up the entire piece of paper and one of them is sideways (landscape) is his going to be an issue. Both of those originals are 6000 miles away with him 😢 I just don’t want them rejected when I submit. Thank you.

Does it seem the average Time to verify docs is 4 weeks? Trying to get a hang of processing dates but it seems to be all over the place. I’ve seen recently 7/30 8/11 8/15 8/24. So I can’t believe it’s first in processed, even though multiple nvc reps said it purely is processed by date received only.

Date on nvc site 7/28 this week

original submit date 7/24

docs reviewed 8/21

resubmitted one doc 8/23

praying for dq for all

I had my wife scan things and send them to be via PDFs. She of course scanned the passport biopage side ways. I couldn't edit the PDF but what I did was rotate and print to PDF.

Now it's right side up still not editable.

You could try to copy the page since you said that it takes up most of the page set the copier to its highest print usually a dpi setting but shrink the image then rotate the new copy and copy that one again.

Otherwise just have them copy it again and send it via the Internet.

You have to do what it takes to get things done. Everyone forgets we can be connected by the internet. (Additional fees apply and/or travel applies)

Hello,

I am new to this website. I am the Petitioner for my husband's IR-1 Visa application. We originally submitted our I-130 petition back in Sept 2017 and it was approved June 22, 2018. We did need to do a I-160 waiver for him being unlawfully present in the USA and that was approved June 2, 2019. We submitted his DS-261 online with our lawyer on August 2, 2019. The majority of the documents were approved on August 21, 2019 but 4 documents were rejected due to them not being clear copies. Our attorney re-submitted the documents August 22, 2019.

The initial submission only took 14 business days. It's been more days than the initial submission (16 days to be exact, excluding Labor day) and we still haven't got a response on the re-submitted documents. How much longer should we expect for this to be reviewed. The wait time on the NVC website is so inaccurate.

Upload it vertical (Potrait) or they will reject it.

Filled out DS-260 and submitted all documents. Now the waiting starts once again...

Thank you all for the help.

Does anyone think I have any chance of getting interview this year based on the how backlogged Mumbai is? I am more leaning toward end of January.

Hi,

I called NVC this morning and I was told that they are way behind they are reviewing cases from July 28. They no longer go buy the 3 wks step review its unlimited review time.

I resubmitted 2 documents on August 20 and still not reviewed. I hope by next week they will get reviewed. And get DQ asap right after  that.

The wait is frustrating 🤦🏽‍♀️

What is the NVC phone number that every one keeps talking about? My lawyer stated there was no number. Can you please pass that to me, thanks.

In Mumbai consulate, interview dates are available within 36 days for non-immigrant category. So for immigrant category the availability should be close to that. Your case would see some light by Oct half. If everything goes fine your interview will be scheduled in Dec.
