Quick question about the sponsor. I meet the income requirements for my approved I 130.  However, I did not have an income for the year 2016 and at that time I did not know that I can file a tax return with 0 income, so I was dependent in my relative's tax return. Since I-864 form asks for the last three years income, should I file with a joint sponsor to be on the safe side or should I explain my situation for the year 2016. I could not decide. Were there anybody in the same situation and got the visa without a problem?

If you are submitting the I-864EZ you only need to submit 2018 transcript. You don’t need to submit the previous last 3 years. You can get your transcript by going to the irs website and creating an account, you will revive your tax transcript immediately on the screen for print out.

Did you include the W2 and paystub “just because” or were they requested?

Thank you!

Hey guys 😊 we are currently waiting for our case number. How long does it usually take NVC to approve documents once they’ve been submitted (granted everything is accepted and nothing needs rob be corrected)?

Currently waiting for the NVC case number, am the USC petitioner. What’s the difference between I-864 and I-864EZ? How do I know which one I should submit?

I-864EZ is if you are the petitioner and only sponsoring one immediate family member and your income is directly from en employer.

The passport was opened on the BIO page and scanned. So 2 pages are visible. We didn't scan any other page. There's no back page with address, idk how other countries passports are shaped. This is exactly how it looks like scanned.

Thank you!

I included paystubs as proof of current income.

The W2 I included because quite a few people in the previous thread adviced so. They received W2 request even if they sponsored solely on their own income and uploaded irs transcript.

I have an income from only one employer, yes. I am sponsoring my husband AND his 15 y.o. son. They are two different I-130s though, with different case numbers.

Does that mean I still submit I-864EZ for each beneficiary?

So let me get this straight:

If your joint sponsor is married filing jointly- but makes over 95% of the household income and proves it through tax transcripts, W-2’s, paystubs and an employment letter has to have their spouse (who makes around 5% of the household income) sign an I-864a form.

I did not have my joint sponsor’s spouse do this. I submitted everything Aug. 6th. Is it best to wait to hear back from them? Or should I re-submit it right away?

Don't submit it. wait if they give you rfe. since its over a month since you submitted. if they accept it just make sure you bring it to your interview. Goodluck
