Question for the interview: My husband's Australian police check is going to expire before we enter the US to activate his visa so he got another one to make it more recent. The case has already been transferred to the Sydney consulate but do we need to upload the new police check to CEAC anyway?

Thanks!

It only needs to be valid for the interview date, not for entry into the US. But if you already have another one , take it to the interview

Forgot to ask my other questions:

As my husband's petitioner, I was originally using our assets for financial support. Since I submitted the financial documents in May, our assets have grown quite a bit. Since May as well, my job transfer to our Atlanta office has been finalised and hence will have the offer letter to include with the financial evidence as my salary will be more than enough to prove that I can support him.

So, my questions are:

1. Does he just take what I originally submitted on CEAC for the i-864 or do I need to have him bring an updated version of the i-864 and supporting documentation in addition to what was submitted on CEAC?

2. He's going to bring the offer letter as well to the interview but does that need to be uploaded to CEAC?

If your file is already been accepted at the NVC and sent to Sydney , just take anything new or changed in supporting documentation to the interview. You can complete a new I864 to reflect your new confirmed employment and offer it to the Consular Officer.

Dont forget to enjoy the view out the huge plate glass window on the left end of the Sydney Consulate offices. Magnificent !

I guess Egypt will stop again!

They didn't start giving interviews to April cases yet!!!

But you will get yours soon if not the next week I'm sure you will get yours in October!

Did you get your interview date please ? My case completed in June 15 but I didn’t get the interview date till now and every time we call the nvc they told us that the Egyptian embassy is overloaded and they didn’t till us the reason of being late or when they will start to schedule the month of June

Hi there. You said he ‘can’ take a new i864 and wondering if that means it’s not necessary?

Sort of a similar situation, my husband has just changed jobs and making more income. I was going to just have him email me the offer letter to take to the interview but a new i864 means he would probably have to courier it since it’s signed and embassy would need original. Thanks!

I have a question regarding PCC similar to the one asked above. My PCC will expire before my interview . ( Mumbai continues to delay it :( ) It will be 6 months since the PCC was issued. Do I need to get another PCC for the interview?
