I'm honestly surprised anyone told you something that helpful. Reps I've talked to said they "schedule throughout the month" and couldn't give me more anything specific.

Yeah, she was also quite assertive in what she's saying. So I believe her.

Honestly, the wording of "schedule throughout the month" can be interpreted in more than one way. It could mean they are working on scheduling throughout the month ( and releasing IL twice), or schedule 2-3 a month which would also make it "throughout the month" .

From what I've seen there's 2 big releasing events - around 10-12th and 20-22nd of every month. And then there's a few sporadic ILs in between.

Thank you so much. Could  anyone please give me an idea what documents to bring to the interview?

Everything you sent to the NVC. There is a list on your embassy's website. Medical exam packet. More bona fide evidence. (I made an album of our first year of marriage.) I moved back to the US to prove re-establish domicile so I'm bringing evidence of that.

Yeah, the rep told me that it was no longer just at the beginning and the end of the month any more. That was the system but it changed over a year ago. I'm just glad you didn't wait on hold for nothing!

so i submitted my documents on September 9th and resubmitted another document on Sep 19th but they still got back to me on Sept 23rd (2 weeks). Unfortunately, i have two documents that need to be re scanned (not so bad) but another two documents that were stated as "Please replace this with an acceptable birth certificate" and the same with one police clearance (both Egyptian documents).

I have made sure that these are the right version, even asked around egyptian people i know. The issue is that the scanned version of the original document is truly a very bad scan (i had a feeling about this but the legal translator made this mistake)

so what i will do now is scan both documents appropriately, then take them to the legal translator once more, then re upload them on the CEAC page.

has anyone gone through this before? this is so stressful as i feel like my hands are  tied.

I don’t know what they’re doing. May Cc remaining blew up NVC inbox and phone lines last night. July 1 got an IL as well. We are hoping Monday we will see IL for rest of May otherwise I think we will raid NVC like Area 51

Did anyone hear anything back from reaching out to the NVC? Sounds like the NVC is done until mid-October again.

Were holding out for this week. Some in the group have reached out to their congressman and senators already and put an inquiry. Were tweeting at them. Some called NVC as well. I’m not sure what else we can do, to be honest.

Question for the interview: My husband's Australian police check is going to expire before we enter the US to activate his visa so he got another one to make it more recent. The case has already been transferred to the Sydney consulate but do we need to upload the new police check to CEAC anyway?

Thanks!
