Praise God somebody!

I received the IL email yesterday morning, just 2 weeks after I was finally documentarily qualified.

Priority Date: May 25th, 2018

Case Closed: September 3rd, 2019

Interview Date: October 8th 2019

Lagos Consulate.

My interview is 3 weeks away, so I'm running to one of the US approved hospital here in Lagos, for my medical examination this morning. I hope I make it there on time.

To the rest of us still waiting for the IL from India, Canada, Egypt and other parts of the world that I can't mention now, just hang on. You will get that email very soon. God bless you all.

My first post here, been reading for a while though. 😁 Got CC on 10 September 2019 and waiting for the IL now. Unfortunately not much information seems to be available about the embassy in Brussels. Congratulations on those who got their IL already!

Congress reached out to NVC and didn’t provide anything new ( waiting to be scheduled and that they are working on October interviews)

We called the congresswoman office a month ago and she asked them to give the embassy and the NVC a month to respond but till now they didn't get back to us!

My husband will contact her again today!

We can band together in the "European countries without data to go on" club! We got our Interview Letter after just over two weeks for North Macedonia. Have you seen the information below? I peaked at Brussels and it doesn't look like they should have a backlog based on the number of visas they typically issue! I know that's not a guarantee of anything, but I think these statistics can help give you an idea at least.

I've taken a look at it yes, I hope to receive the IL within a few days. Considering others here are getting theirs and there doesn't seem to be a backlog that shouldn't be unreasonable.

I look forward to your future Interview Letter post! Also, it's clear that the NVC rep I talked to on the phone a few weeks ago was correct in that ILs are being issued throughout almost the whole month now! She told me they had changed over to that system over a year ago. We got ours the 13th of September.

Is this only for your consulate or for all consulates? Thank you

This was a general statement for all consulates as far as I understood.  It definitely wasn't JUST for North Macedonia, but perhaps a larger consulate may have a specific policy, especially if they have a lot of other types of visas to issue.

We are in almost identical situation. We got DQ Sept 10, our consulate in Amsterdam doesn't have a backlog as well, issues very few immigrant visas overall.. but I'm afraid we could miss out on October because of NVC scheduling. I really hope my fears are unfounded. The closer it gets the more anxious I become.
