Anybody?

it may be the format of which your friend submitted that caused the documents to be blurry (jpeg) or sideways.

It's hard to gauge when you'll receive the interview letter after DQ if your timeline is blank. What country are you applying from?

Praise God!

This morning I got my passport with FX1 visa stamp from US Embassy Oman.

And the bonus, no need for Immigrant Visa packet...everything in digital form.

Some embassies already started the digital system...Oman is one of those.

Truly, those who wait on God will never be disappointed!

God bless to all who’s still waiting...

God is in control.

Congratulations

Hi Blair, hope your ok! Super happy to be joining case complete forum as well! I have received DQ last week finally and hoping to receive IL soon 🙏 So Sorry for all that’s going on in Bahamas:( I’m glad your safe, stay strong my friend! Don’t worry your time will come soon enough. Best wishes to us all, god willing we receive wonderful news soon! 🙏

Yay!!! Finally. Glad you got DQ! Yes I pray we all get our ILs soon :D I'm doing ok. Nassau where I am and where the embassy is located did not get a direct hit thank goodness but I believe they cancelled scheduled interviews to focus on those who were directly affected. Thank you for the well wishes!

So I put together approved visas for Mumbai from March 2017 to July 2019 from Visa Statistics. I am hoping for the spike in IR1/CR1 in October based on previous year. The bottom chart is for B1/B2 and F1 visas. Hopefully, they are done with the student visas and focus more on IR1/CR1.

Hopefully, this will help us to see the bigger picture based on the past trends.

I am not sure and I hate to say it, but most likely we will have January interviews if everything goes smoothly at NVC and Mumbai picks up pace to clear the backlog.

Does USCIS pass along all of the bonifide proof of marriage I submitted to the NVC? And then does the NVC keep and send all that proof to the CO at the local embassy where the interview is done? just wondering if i need to duplicate proof at the NVC stage.

USCIS will pass it along, but you will need to resubmit the originals to NVC's website as PDF. When the time comes, you will need to bring the originals into the interview. They will use a highlighter to mark it up. They will keep the paperwork and you will receive it back when the visa is issued.

It's probably since they need to verify it hasn't been manipulated any step of the way as it's moving through different departments.
