3032 Shortcut

Once aain we tried to submit Choice of Agent by e-mail. We followed the shortcut recommendations exactly. For the second time...the first time we waited 13 day,s now we have waited seven days and still we still have NOT had a reply to the first or second e-mail. Does anyone have any thoughts???

Yes. Call NVC and ask what the problem is? It's probably something simple like an email from the USC instead of from the beneficiary or unclear instructions etc. Ask them how the beneficiary is supposed to chose the agent by email and they'll tell you what to do right. Compare that to what you did and you'll know what you did wrong.

call the nvc and ask if the choice of agent has been entered into their system. when you checked the email account from which it was sent from, did you check your bulk folder also? some people have their spam filter on high and things that are new sometimes gets sent into the bulk or whatever folder your email sends mail that is not recognized instead of allowing it into your inbox.

I did not get any response to my first e-mail for DS3032. However, I did receive a response for my second e-mail and it was accepted. Make sure that you follow the instructions on how to send them e-mail. Write your NVC case number in the subject line. Include your name and date of birth of both the petitioner and the beneficiary. Call NVC and explain them that email has been sent by the beneficiary regarding the choice of agent and hopefully, you will get an update.

Given this kind of thing that's been happening lately, the original shortcut of having the beneficiary download, sign, and send to the U.S. spouse a DS-3032 well ahead of time seems to be the most surefire way.

You should definitely call the NVC. My husband sent them an e-mail on Wednesday EXACTLY as the shortcut says and he got a response yesterday acknowledging they had received it. I also called the NVC this morning and the automated message says they received the choice of agent as well. So there are no problems with the shortcut at all.

Well the saga of the failed 3032 e-mail ontinues costing more time. And to furher confuse things today the NVS changed the date the AOS payment was received from 1 June to 5 June. So I called. The helpful agent basically ignored my comments and questions on the 3032 except to say send in the forms or send in the request written on a pice of paper. So to stop the time drain we sent a UPS package with the forms...finally received....to NVC at a cost of $50 via UPS. But amazingly my helpful NVS agent told me out of the blue that my I864 was mailed yesterday even though the recording has not changed. I864 sent immediately for delivery tomorrow!!!!!!!! PROGRESS.
