Awesome to hear September peeps are starting to get their NOA2s this week! Technically I didn't get my NOA1 until early October, so we might have to wait until the new year, but it looks like things are going pretty smoothly nonetheless.

Quick one.... having gotten my NOA2 (yay!) - I have looked at the DS-160 and completed it in draft.

Ideally - when do most ppl submit the DS-160....?

 

I haven't had the official letter of acceptance for the NOA2 yet only the Text/Email.

 

If this question is better suited for the DEC NOA2 to NVC thread please feel free to move it.

Okay... gotcha. NO reason to wait then? Just take the WAC number and roll with it. Check and Double check, then submit and have done with it.

Sorry to SPAM but I tried looking this up: For the QUESTION: DS-160

 

The List of Purposes of Trip to the U.S.

 

I am due to visit for Christmas - do I put that down as a travel plan? - or does it mean the FINAL PLAN once I get the visa?

 

after that:

 

ALSO - my PoC is my fiancee - but my options only list closest as FRIEND or OTHER - what should I put?

 

Later on I list the same person as my Fiancee. ?? Odd.....

Hi Greenbaum.  This might be a stupid question, but I am going to ask it anyway.  Unfortunately, my beneficiary does not have access to a computer that can pull up the DS-160 online.  Her computer at work has its own browser which is just not compatible and she doesn’t own a PC.

 

Can I just have her video chat with me so we can fill out the DS-160 together off of my computer at home and submit it?  Or would that be considered fraud since she needs to fill it out on her end?  Not sure if that matters at all.....

 

Also, I was hoping I can help pay for the form online using my credit card.  The application is expensive in her money so I rather cover the cost.
