Counting right along with you! Lol

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

My profile is as complete as possible at this point. Immigration info is filled out, but I have no flag.

I see a flag for Egypt in your displayed profile in the left column. If that is correct then nothing further to do. Thanks for completing.

I started counting from the date USCIS received our packet. :)  We have a group chat if you wanna join.

It's the date on the letter, which will be the date USCIS uses to tell you if you are outside of processing time.

Hi everyone.  I am the petitioner and my sweetheart is in the Philippines with a NOA1 received on September 3rd.  Really hoping I get lucky and it is approved before the end of the year.  I hear the embassy in Manila is very efficient according to various testimonies here on VJ.  Fingers-crossed for a smooth ride!!

Very simple in Manila. I'd recommend that you start getting your documents together now so in the even something needs to corrected you have time and it does cause you any harm. I'll give you some links below of which one of them is Hank's website with step by step instructions for the Philippines only. If I don't say Philippines only some Yahoo will think it's for their embassy. :)

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Manila US Embassy states that a scanned copy of the signed I-134 is fine, if you don't have the original.

Awesome compilation.  Thank you so much!!  The only form I am concerned about is the I-134 Form.  My salary is well above the poverty line and I'm hoping I don't need to provide a bunch of bank or brokerage statements.

If my annual income is sufficient, are people leaving those 3 questions (Balance of Savings/Checking, Personal Property, Stocks/Bonds) blank or zero'd out?  Seems so arbitrary since stocks and checking accounts are very volatile.  I will provide an official letter from my employer stating my salary as evidence.  On the instructions, they also mention about getting a letter regarding account balance, date opened, and amount deposited in the last year.  I guess I can try to get that from my bank as well if necessary.  Is that truly enough?

SB. But don't be surprised if not asked for at the interview.  Manila hasn't asked on a regular basis for three years but they can ask so be prepared.  With your salary way over the poverty line you should breeze right on through.
