Canada is a little funny in they way the conduct their interviewing. They won't let you schedule till you complete the P3 checklist and submit the necessary requested documents. Once that is complete then your P4 is sent allowing you to schedule and appointment. Appointments are difficult to get so have patience. In the mean time you need to locate your sub-forum under the "forums" tab at the top of the page. Lots of others there to help you from your country/region.

Hi everyone, so my case was sent to the consulate on the 12th of Nov., received on the 19th, but I still havent received package 3. It seems as if the other German applicants have received their packages; apparently, of the 3 people in our Group, im the one who still has not heard back from the consulate. Im thinking about contacting the consulate in Frankfurt, if I Dont get my package this week. I have finished Ds160 and paid for the visa, and the Status on ceac says, "Ready". So im basically wondering, if I should call Or Text the consulate? I Dont want to seem pushy.. . Thank you for any Suggestions!

Hi Leah, I'm not sure if this is what you mean but are you talking about Fenja and me because be both just posted that we sent in our package 3 last week? If so: I'm on a completely different timeline than you because my case was transferred between embassies. And if I'm not mistaken Fenja had already received her package 3 a while back but had been waiting to send it back until the timing worked out better for them, so essentially she is on a different timeline than you as well. But maybe you were talking about someone else, I struggle keeping up with all the messages sometimes...

But there is no reason not to email them I think, they always respond within a few days and are very helpful in my experience. I doubt they would be annoyed if you sent one email. Good luck, and keep us posted :)

In Frankfurt we can schedule the interview only after the embassy has sent us an email instructing us to do so. Medical can be scheduled though, but if possible, the best seems to be to do it only a few weeks before the interview.

Hi greenbaum, thank you for taking the time to respond! I have read your instructions before, but it seems as if the process is different in Germany. As meloe has stated above. I will send them an Email. Thank you both, for your opinions. And Thank you @melOe, I was not talking about you, but 2 other girls from Our Group, and they were in the same shipment, and have received their packages some time ago.

Yes you are right. I looked at the website and their language explaining what needs to take place and then with the threat of bodily harm I suppose it's best you follow their advice.

We had our interview in Stockholm on Monday and we were approved (pending receipt of medical exam). Hoping we'll have her passport back before Christmas.

Huge thanks to @Greenbaum for all of your help and insight throughout the process.

Good luck to everyone still in the journey. That day will come!

I'll give you two more tips when using VJ. When you respond to a post just use the "Quote" at the end of their post. That will populate to a new window where below the quote and outside the quoted text you can type your message. That way the individual knows that you have an answer or have a question concerning their topic.

If you just want to post something to an individual without a quote then use the "@" sign then begin typing their nickname, in the box at the end of the page, you should see it populate to a little window that you can choose their nik. Good luck and I hope this helps navigate the thread and posts in a much easier way.

We need a little housekeeping from you if you will. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

I'm actually having an issue with my timeline...I filled it out when I first registered, yet sometimes it will not show my timeline when I come to the site. Then I have to provide my email for the site to bring my timeline up again. This has happened multiple times since I've registered. I have not needed to update anything so I'm not sure why it keeps disappearing!
