Hello!

I was just wondering, is it possible to have the medical at Knightsbridge and interview the following day at the US embassy in London.  I realize it causes delays I just want to confirm it can be done.

Also, providing everything is fine document wise, does anyone have any idea generally what the delay would be?

I believe your questions are answered in the following links. I recommend that you move over to the UK sub-forum to begin asking your specific questions about your embassy. I doubt someone from Russia, the Philippines or Japan is going to have your answer. You see each embassy has different documents, requirements and procedures.

There are experts over in the sub-forum for your country located here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/  This is where others from your country who are processing or those who have completed their interview and they can guide you on their experience. A TON of information and help there.

Decreeabsolute with a judges signature. You need to fill in a form, D-160 which is available online to print and send it completed along with your decree absolute to Bury St Edmunds, the divorce court. I actually called the courts and explained my situation. They were most helpful in explaining what I needed to do. Signed certificate will be back within 3 weeks.

Ask London specific questions in the UK forum and you won't get answers from another country who may have different procedures at the embassy stage. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/

Since I helped you out can you do us both a favor.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

I'm confused. I am not aware of a expedited fee to move your NOA1 closer to the front of the line. Please add more so all can learn.

I think this is the Fedex fee. Cause papers will arrive faster than when you do regular shipping. Not sure if this is what he means though

Yep, the DHL fee to ship our petition from New Zealand to the US. I (female) am currently living with my fiancé in NZ.

Well, here we are in Manila and the humidity is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Days 1 and 2 are done and over with at SLEC , no issues whatsoever! She arrived day 1 (Wednesday, Oct 30) at 6:30 am and was out by 11:30 am. Day 2 her appointment (Thursday Oct 31) was scheduled at 9:00 am but she decided to get there earlier and arrived at 7:15 am and finished at 10:25. Now we will tool around town and wait for her interview on Tuesday the 5th. Spent the day at the Mall of Asia and took a stroll on the bay walk taking pictures. I totally understand the meaning of “Moist” as I am leaking from every pore of my body! I have to drink water every 15 minutes to keep from dehydrating.

My fiancee got her medical done in Chandigarh, India yesterday. All they needed was her USTravelDocs appointment letter.  They didn't ask for the NVC letter etc.

I feel your pain. I too have problems with the humanity and I live in the South Eastern part of the US. BTW, you should take in Rizal park. It's a nice stroll and the water fountain display is neat to see. Good luck on the interview and safe travels for you'll.

Or maybe they are not yet set up to receive the E-transmittal. Nothing in any of these process are chiseled in stone. They change constantly and that's why you must remain flexible and not take everything as the "Gods honest truth". Just my experience.

I just meant that I’m not surprised nothing changed because I suspect no one is really working. Whether that’s a button to acknowledge the received email or to accept the mail. This was all faster than expected so I’m not complaining.
