Wow, everything is going so smoothly for you shoji, congrats!

Makes me wish I had spent the extra $80 to have our petition expedited to get our NOA1 before the 20th of June 🤣 (obviously not how it works)

is this the Fedex fee?  My fiance and I decided to go Fedex for peace of mind. I'm not sure if this what you mean. Hehe

I'm confused. I am not aware of a expedited fee to move your NOA1 closer to the front of the line. Please add more so all can learn.

I think this is the Fedex fee. Cause papers will arrive faster than when you do regular shipping. Not sure if this is what he means though

NVC sent case file on Tuesday, Oct-29.  That day, status changed to "In Transit".

File is still on its way, as tracked by DHL, expected at destination on Friday, Nov-1.

CEAC status already changed to "Ready".  Hooray.

DHL shows delivered but CEAC still says in transit. (Not surprised. France has a holiday tomorrow.)

I'm not surprised that your a little rusty on what really happens here. Let me explain. DHL sends the "paper" case file to the embassy. NVC electronically sends the data file to the embassy which arrives first and trips the "ready" reading on CEAC prior to the paper file arriving. Once both are at the embassy, your case is truly "ready" for interview. That's how it works. Surprised?

I guess like others, his status should also have been READY after electronic transmittal.  it is a valid question why his CEAC status still shows in transit.  Maybe for his embassy the electronic transmittal does not make the status READY in CEAC.

Hello!

I was just wondering, is it possible to have the medical at Knightsbridge and interview the following day at the US embassy in London.  I realise it causes delays I just want to confirm it can be done.

Also, providing everything is fine document wise, does anyone have any idea generally what the delay would be?

Or maybe they are not yet set up to receive the E-transmittal. Nothing in any of these process are chiseled in stone. They change constantly and that's why you must remain flexible and not take everything as the "Gods honest truth". Just my experience.
