Yes, and I received an email from the NVC last night at 6:30pm saying it was in transit and it gave me information for my fiance's consulate.  When I woke up this morning, my status is now Ready.

Wow. I didn't think they did those on Monday's.  Congratulations! Your NVC date was around the same as mine. Hopefully I'll get good news.

Not sure which thread would be best for my question, but I'll take a stab here--

Can my fiance use his travel visa to come into the US even AFTER he's been issued his k-1? The reason I ask is that he's just been given a work commitment that he has to fulfill in May, and we do not want to wait until after that for him to come over. I'm wondering if he can come over here around Feb as we hoped, entering the country on his travel visa, and then he'd go back to Croatia in May to fulfill the work obligation, then come back here right afterwards and enter with the k-1 at that point. Is this doable/allowed?

NOA2 Sept 25th and still no contact from NVC! Send your good luck vibes to me! I already sent them an email and I call multiple times a day only to get the "call back at a later time" message :( :(

Thanks buddy.  Hoping to get email from CEAC today or tomorrow.  Maybe the hospital where she has  a medical scheduled on Friday may want to see the case number in a letter (which the CEAC letter will have).  I hope the interview appointment letter is sufficient for the medical.

Also, just heard from Mumbai consulate that they have changed my appointment date from Dec-13 to Dec-12.  That's all good and fine, but I had to spend some money to change my flight booking to Bombay, and now have to call the hotel also.  😞

Yes, some places will allow you to complete medical with just a screenshot showing it's At NVC. Not sure of all locations, would need to contact the local medical facility.

Good to know. We received our case number on Friday and are currently still at NVC but was thinking about phoning now and booking my medical in London (albeit, booking for the first week of December so I guess our case would be with the embassy by then anyway)

Question: Does the medical check-up require some document specifying your NVC Case #?  Is the interview appointment letter from USTravelDocs sufficient?

When I booked the medical appointment, they asked me the NVC Case # on phone.  But in most cases, the beneficiary in the foreign country will have no document from NVC specifying the case number.  The petitioner might have the email though...

I believe you will find your question answered in the follow links:

Here is the letter that you will receive from Mumbai Embassy. Read it over carefully and follow the instructions. Another member of VJ added some additional information contained below which outlines what he experienced.

Once you received your case number from NVC,  I would recommend you fill out DS-160 form and submit. Some say the packet 3 letter is nothing just waste of time same thing they have mention which you easily get from USCIS website when you called to the clinics to book your medical appointment date they will ask you have you received your packet letter or not. Just say yes and booked the appointment date however you will receive that letter within 2 weeks the day you will get your NVC number.

Go on USCIS website make your account with password and then pay your fees to Citibank or Axis bank. They will give you reference number. With that number you can book your biometric and interview appointment date. The fees are 18,500 and for medical but I recommend that you carry 20,000 with you in the event you need more. Be sure to  keep at least 7 days gap between medical and interview.

Here is a topic in another forum where those from the Mumbai Consulate are applying with good information.

Ask London specific questions in the UK forum and you won't get answers from another country who may have different procedures then you at this embassy stage. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/
