I know about the dates from the pdf and the dhl tracking. But nothing about the next status. Nothing in the PDF shows what status to expect prior to the embassy receiving it. Did a ctrl f "At NVC" for example only appears once.

So tomorrow we all check CEAC and we're supposed to see what status if we are expecting shipment? Read Number 8

Currently mine says At NVC but once it's shipped it'll say in transit? Read Number 8

Then I can check DHL to track it?  Read number 9

You got to help yourself in this process. We explain things we point you for further information and you still struggle to understand the process. I am not trying to be mean or single you out but I have spent hours upon hours collecting and disseminating information so VJ'rs like you will have a better understanding. Maybe, I need to rethink the PDF and make some changes so it's a little more clearer.

My CEAC account is now showing In Transit. Is it possible they sent some out today?  Its also saying my interview date was provided to you by the NVC but neither my fiance or myself recieved any type of email or anything.

I already mentioned I read it, but since you seem to think I'm lying I'll quote the entire thing. Plus I already mentioned I understand it's going to be tracked through DHL so not sure what isn't getting through to you.

"8. Tracking your case: As a K1, when checking your case online at CEAC.state.gov you must
select "immigrant visa" as it is treated as such even though it is a "non-immigrant visa".
Technically the K-1 is a non-immigrant visa with intent to immigrate, but it is treated like an
immigrant visa because of the AOS. It is kind of a ba$tard. Non-immigrant case treated like an
immigrant case. The K-1 on its own is a single entry, with a short time limited visa that expires
within 90 days after POE. That is why it is a non-immigrant visa treated like an immigrant visa.
USICS states If you have a pending I-129f, I-90, I-485, I-751 or N-400, we’ve recently changed
the way we’re displaying processing times online to give you a more realistic date range. To
check these times, visit https://t.co/ho3dfC5KCA"

Please show me where it says what status it will move to tomorrow or Wednesday as things get shipped out. I already mentioned there's nothing in there that states anything about the status of it being "At NVC" which is what it currently is. And I already mentioned that there's nothing about a status bump to "In Transit" which AmeriJo answered indirectly. I get that you are helping people out. And like you, I'm not trying to be a #######, but the information I asked isn't listed. Sure I'll give you the DHL but that was more-of a confirmation than anything. Maybe instead of making these things PDF's you can make them wiki's so people can edit them. You provide a lot of information which is appreciated by a lot of people here. You have a lot of knowledge based on the process you've been through. Maybe others can help make it more clear through a wiki type of format, even if it's something that you end up "approving" at the end of the day...

STATUS READY.jpg

Showing in transit on Monday is strange as this has never happened. I wonder how many others are in the same boat.

I'd like to get something corrected so others have the answer to as it will happen to them. You do NOTHING now with NVC. The verbiage that was contained in your email/online is for CR-1 visa's. So just ignore it.

Second item, is your case will say READY which allows you to schedule your appointment and complete the DS-160 BUT don't schedule your appointment so close to the READY date as your file was sent electronically and your paper file is still in transit. Till each arrives you are not truly READY.

I hope this explains a few things.

Today is a big day for some as your case file may ship out to your embassy. Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows you are on your way. Shipments are throughout today and tomorrow so don't get discourage if your record at CEAC has not changed over to "in transit” Also, for those who want to have a little fun in tracking your shipment see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread NUMBER 19 for instructions. NOTE: The DHL hack information will not be available till Wednesday as the DHL and NVC computers must sync with each other to produce the outcome.

You have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number. Once your record is set to "ready" you are ready to proceed in processing your next steps as listed in your P3 for your embassy.  I have most P3 if you hit me up with a request, I will post back the links.

Please don't screenshot and post your CEAC status as it just clutters up the thread. We all know what it looks like. Let us know your progress as we want to celebrate with you. Good luck.

Does anyone here have any experience with a non-laborious way to print a call log for WhatsApp calls between the petitioner and the beneficiary.  I'm sure most of us use WhatsApp for calling our fiancee.  If there is no good way, I guess I will just screenshot every page of call history between me and her and print out those screenshots one by one...

I want to add these call logs to my relationship evidence during the embassy interview, in addition to the other evidence.  I don't want to print out all the chat messages, as that is personal and I have no intention of giving Department of State a crash course on romantic chatting haha.

Received our case number a couple days ago haven't had time to post. They didn't say when they received it but I updated my profile.

I found this interesting tidbit on the internet.  You might like it.  It shows how to calculate case file received date at NVC from USCIS from your case #.

Ok even though I thanked you for the help, said how helpful you are to the community, and offered advice on how to make your life easier. Guess it's easier to just butt out then to admit you're wrong.

Yes, and I received an email from the NVC last night at 6:30pm saying it was in transit and it gave me information for my fiance's consulate.  When I woke up this morning, my status is now Ready.
