I do have a question... With the case number they give us the Invoice ID #. Dumb question but what do we do with this? Consult Number 8 from the PDF.
I thought after the "NVC step" we will just need to wait for the Embassy to receive the case but what about CEAC? Consult Number 9.  Is it just a way to track our case?  Yes and NO. You use the case number for a variety of steps one being the tracking of your case to the embassy. Do you HAVE to pays fees on CEAC? No fees are paid to CEAC. Fees are paid according to your embassy P3 letter. Ok. I am going to anticipate your next question what is a P3 letter. It's a set of instructions on what to prepare for the interview, how to pay your interview fees etc. I will include a copy below for your embassy.

One other thing I'd like to clarify is : Do you use a DS-260 or DS-160 for the K1?

Well folks the time has finally arrived! Flying out to Manila tomorrow to join my Fiancee before her interview next week! We both just want to let all you guys know how much we appreciate all the advice and help during this long and stressful process. We surely realize it's far from over at this point, but at least it will make things easier knowing that we will be together for the remainder of it all.  Any last words of advice before the interview would really be appreciated from us both. For you or anybody else reading the P3 Letter. On the bottom of the 4th page, under Enclosures. It says to include DS-167. I'm assuming this is a typo and they actually mean DS-160? I can't find anything for a form called DS-167?

That's correct there is no 167 but 160 only.

So I decided to call into NVC as I was getting a little sick of waiting and after ~1 hour in the queue I got some great information.

 

NVC received my case and assigned a case number on the 23rd of October. Here is hoping that it was processed and will be out in the mail tomorrow or Wednesday.

Good luck, I hope so. I’m hoping for this week also. Mine was received 10/9. But didn’t make the following weeks shipments.

So tomorrow we all check CEAC and we're supposed to see what status if we are expecting shipment? Currently mine says At NVC but once it's shipped it'll say in transit? Then I can check DHL to track it?

You should be a part of the transit group to your embassy.

 

A bit of CAUTION: Shipment notification are all day Tuesday and Wednesday. I know having said that some Moron will say in the morning when they start shipping, "Why isn't mine changing to in transit". "Everyone elses is?"

I know about the dates from the pdf and the dhl tracking. But nothing about the next status. Nothing in the PDF shows what status to expect prior to the embassy receiving it. Did a ctrl f "At NVC" for example only appears once.
