Good for New Hampshire.

"Describing them and “anti-second amendment bills” and pointing to the state’s low crime rate, he spilled veto ink on all three.

“These bills would not solve our national issues nor would they prevent evil individuals from doing harm, but they would further restrict the constitutional rights of law-abiding New Hampshire citizens,” saidSununu."

There was a hearing today in Boston regarding 68 bills on gun control. 68, in a state with some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country. You’d have to read thru some of these to believe it. They keep penalizing the legal gun owners who obey the law.

What’s next, ban cars because drunk drivers cause accidents and kill people? I don’t drink but I shouldn’t be allowed to drive because some people drink and drive? Most accidents are caused by white Toyota Camry’s so make it illegal to own one? Utter nonsense in this state.

You're making this all up.  "They" don't want to take away our guns.

I wonder why they don’t want want to ban alcohol? It kills more people and ruins more lives than guns do. Oh, that’s right,  they drink. And drive. But that’s ok because they do it. They’re all for the parts of the Constitution that they like, like freedom of speech for themselves, but not for anyone they disagree with.

Complete BS. And it’s getting worse. The actions of a few determine the fate of the majority. And no outrage of all the innocent people killed by cops. Remember Jose Guerena?

I did not remember, had to google him.  Truly a tragedy.

There seems to be little outrage over the opioid/heroin epidemic in our country, which kill FAR more than all gun murders annually.  Is it that guns make loud noise?  Or because the “assault” ones are black?  I truly do NOT get it.  As I have stated over and over, the gun makes a coward a temporarily braver individual... but the gun is NOT the problem.  Any more than is the white Toyota driven by a drunk.

Two years ago there were 1913 deaths due to opioid overdoses here in MA. We need stricter gun laws.

Smart move as it also saved them legal costs for the ones that would have sued the state and the state would have lost anyway.
