I downloaded the I-129f directly from the USCIS website. I can edit all the fields in any PDF viewer but I cannot modify the first form for Address History in Part 1.  Also the Date To is prefilled to "PRESENT" and I cannot remove it.  Does anyone know whether this is meant to be left blank?  I thought maybe it was dependent on the previous question which asks if your mailing list is the same as your current physical address, but whether I check YES or NO this part of the form is still uneditable.  In my case, my mailing address is my current address, so should I just leave this blank?

That doesn't work for me!  What PDF Viewer are you using?

Adobe

Maybe start with a fresh form.    You don't have to complete a whole new form just that page, then print out that page only when completed

It's working now with Acrobat!  thank you!  It does however make the first address form not editable when I select "Yes" that my current address is my mailing address so i believe you are indeed supposed to leave that part blank and just put the dates you lived there.  Thank you!

The only PDF viewer USCIS tests things with is Acrobat Reader, and sometimes the scripts that enable and disable fields based on previous questions or prevent the entry of invalid characters don't work on other PDF viewers.
