So ya read it, but didn’t step up to the plate.  Chicken!

Yeah, probably. I've posted about it before, but I was doxxed online about 9 years ago, really unpleasant. Nothing happened ultimately but it caused a lot of strain in my relationship. So no pictures. :P

You haven’t been here long enough to know... it was a common posting of a long-gone poster.  Can’t even remember who.  I used to get a kick outta him saying that.  Even use it in my WhatsApp group chat (all guys) from time to time.

Yeah, I had something similar happen here on VJ when I first joined.  Some dude went off about pics of my fiance, made a few rude comments.  Mods booted him, but I deleted all pics and closed that account.  Sux that people can’t respect others.

It's so weird how personally people take things. I wasn't particularly provocative or anything where I was posting, but I was posting about my then-relationship (which was very much on topic on that particular forum) and people got... let's say, over-emotionally invested in what I was posting. I was called a drama queen, a gold digger, naive, dumb (frequently), an alcoholic, a drug addict (because I got so stressed out about the relationship and what was going on online that I went to see a therapist, who recommended anti-anxiety meds... and no one would have found out about that had I not trusted someone on there in PMs who then spilled the beans), and on and on. I was only 25, and I took it WAY too personally. I am also a chronic oversharer, as you may have already figured out. So there was a LOT out there about me. Things went completely haywire when my then-fiance decided to take control of the situation and made his own account, telling people off for attacking me. He was... not very polite, and kind of superior and condescending. That's when a couple of posters got together, put together stuff about me from bits and pieces I posted and figured out where I worked, my FB profile, etc. Even my political donations! Someone said they would show up at LAX when I had said I was going to meet my then-fiance there to pick him up. Nightmare.

The account on that forum was nuked as far as I know, thankfully. I haven't been back onto a forum until this year, when my current now-fiance and I started talking about marriage. So I'm just a lot more careful, and I definitely don't talk about how much he makes, all the presents he gives me, pictures of my wedding dress, etc. etc. etc. I look back on it now and I think: what an idiot I was! :D

Home now, no Franzia for me tonight. I have a bottle of Laetitia Pinot Noir I might open up, more respectable.

Man up and tell your ex that you're using his Netflix, and you're all right in MY book.

Minus your toxic femininity.  And boxed wine, of course.

He was an ex-fiancé, not fiancée (pretty sure I am a straight person). He's also my ex-husband, bane of my existence, etc. We were together for 12 years, which was pretty much all of my adult(ish) life when we separated two and a half years ago. It is/was/has been/continues to be a little dramatic with him -- I was under his thumb for years (economic/emotional/mental control) and we have considerable overlap of friends. He meddles in my life still, and since members of my family are still friendly with him (like my dad, for reasons unknown to me) he's in my life, like it or not. I'm working hard to cut him out finally but it's.... complicated. I'm also way too nice and accommodating, I am told, which makes things worse. 😕

Well, I figure it's a fair trade for the fact that he drunk dialed my fiancé in the middle of the night for three weeks on and off because of their ongoing disputes (multiple).

Also, as I said, it is NOT boxed wine tonight! A 2015 Pinot Noir in a BOTTLE tonight. (And my femininity is toxic only when I'm drunk/hungover from boxed wine. :P )
