I wish I got any sort of update, its been close to a year now

Yeah my husband and I filed in April 2019 at Texas - Just got an update today that his biometric was waived.

Any updates from TX??

 

I see a lot of Jan 19 - Aug 19 filers hearing they are going to reuse their bio. And Transferrers from other offices get approved but seems like they are stuck with August 18 - December 18 filers. Don't see much movement there.

Received a biométrica request despite them supposedly being waived in April.

 

I’m confused as per usual. Nothing new. Hopefully this means an approval soon?

I had a feeling that would happen. Did not make sense that everyone from TX would just reuse the bio. But good! That means they can work on your case as soon as it is done! Hopefully soon!!

finally got an update, I got my biometrics letter today

January 2019, filer : Got appointment for biometrics letter. Earlier i had received mail that it was waived.

I just recieved biometric letter. Scheduled for Nov 4. At least there's movement from texas service center.

I guess TX is turning it into a mess again (I had the pleasure of dealing with them on the K-1).

 

Feb 2018 filer here, got transferred to TX beginning of this year. Got an RFE, come to find out they had lost 50% of my file. Responded to the RFE. Than got an interview letter. At the interview we found out the had lost more stuff from before the AOS time. Was told we would hear from them in about 120 days. (that will be end of this month).

Now the kicker.

old website states they have received my RFE and are working on my case. (date april 2019)

New site states they have received my application  and I should receive NOA (date feb 2018).

 

All other details about biometrics, RFE, interview scheduled and transfer of files is no longer on the site.

 

Filed the N400 to get things moving again.

for people going to do there fingerprints I wonder if the address is correct cause when I put it on google maps it shows me a chicken restaurant so I am hoping the address is accurate in the mail, also for people spending the night before which hotel would you recommend I cant seem to find any good ones near the building

Haha I hope they put it in right or at least you’ll have a good meal!!

I don’t know what is going on I’m kind of irritated at them they send me to one 3 1/2 hour drive away even though we have one only 2 hour away.

just something we will never understand, I hope all goes well on your fingerprinting and I am hoping no interview as I did one for the 2 year green card and its hard to miss work at my job, I had to beg to get the 31st off to make it for the fingerprinting as mine is far as well

It went fine under 5 min so really quick. Only picture, signature and one finger print. 
hope yours goes just as quick

when you say picture you mean like a drivers license? ijust wanna make sure lol , everytime I do things with USCIS it makes me nervous lol

Yep exactly:) no worries I get it! 
 

I just sad on a chair and he took the picture and let me approve it haha
