In Texas you are suppose to collect Sales Tax on lawn service like mowing, etc.

 

Many a small business owners who had landscape companies, have been put out of business by Illegals who mow for cash and of course don't charge sales tax

   Glad we don't pay sales tax for lawn care here. My lawn guy is great, but that extra 72 cents a week for sales tax could easily push me over the edge. Not!

Retired early last year at 58. We bought a few houses and remodeled them and rent out. We have 4 houses now and live in one. Also about to open her own shop and always looking for other properties. I got lucky as she works hard and saves a ton of money. Live near the water and fish and golf now and again and cook excellent meals or we go out and try different foods. Sometimes she or I find something we like to eat and it is my job to learn how to cook it. Life is good for us but I do now care for my invalid brother too now and he is a pain in the ###.
