The waiting list for appointments in London is small to non-existent. But you can slow things down at the NVC and delay sending things. At this point I’m just waiting for the NVC to send me the letter right? Once they receive the package from USCIS? Once I have all the login information I’m literally going to upload the documents the same day.

One of the things that have changed is that I think today most people upload the document direct to the NVC. No sending in papers anymore.

So I was reading that link you sent me it says this:

 

Note - it may be possible that your IIN is created when your NVC number is created...THIS is the time to begin the quest for the IIN, but when requesting, ask for Invoice ID Number, not "IIN".

 

So basically does this mean once I have an NVC number if I call and ask for an Invoice ID number I can save weeks of the process by being able to upload/send my documents in?
