Good day, please I need help!

I want a divorce from my husband who is in Nigeria; we got married in Lagos Nigeria, and I live in Indiana, but I don't know how to go about getting a divorce from Indiana - a simple and fast divorce. He isn't willing to start the process; we have no children and nothing to share; I just want to move on quickly with my life.

Please any idea on what to do is welcome. PLEASE!!!

You may want to ask this in the Africa regional forum.  Just hit the “Report” button on the top of you original post and ask a moderator to move it.  Beyond that, I guess I would consult a divorce attorney.

Good Luck!

I do not see an immigration question, consult with a local Divorce Lawyer, you mention Indiana so that is where you would divorce.

Find an  attorney in Indiana.   A family law issue not an immigration issue

YMMV

I thought I had seen this before.

More important your immigration case was sent back to the US in December so you need to write and withdraw the CR1 application

and read this about Indiana divorce laws / then consult divorce attorney as said above

https://www.hg.org/divorce-law-indiana.html

and do not depend on the Nigerian  to get the divorce (in Nigeria) as the following states: (you need to be married 2 years to divorce there) as it may never happen

The divorce process is the process to follow in order to get a court order to dissolve a marriage. Unlike in some countries where a divorce can be a relatively quick process, it would appear that the law in Nigeria has been made unduly cumbersome (rightly so in some people’s opinion), to ensure that marriage contracts and divorces are not entered into willy-nilly.

The first thing you should know is that you will need the services of a lawyer to get a divorce. Under Nigerian divorce law, a lawyer has to represent you in court in order to bring your case for divorce

Best to avoid Nigeria. Get err done in the US.
