Missing NBI for K1 interview

Hi all,

My fiancee and I have applied for the K1 visa and her interview is on September 5. However, it looks like we will not get the NBI in time for the interview. The last time she got the NBI, it took two weeks due to a hit on her name.  Should we reschedule or proceed as planned for the 5th and send in the NBI  during administrative processing? Last time I looked, the next available appointment is September 26.

Thanks!

Proceed with the interview,  she will get a 221g requesting the NBI .. at that time it can be sent to the embassy per instructions in the letter.   You should still be weeks ahead of rescheduling

Do you have CFO-GCP completed yet?

She got it almost two years ago, we were trying to get a tourist visa so she could come here and visit. She was turned down for the visa though. From what I've read, I think the NBI is only good for a year.

Take receipt of payment of $160 to the K1 interview and ask for a refund 😈
