Are you hiding something, Karry? It's quite unusual for someone to be this worried about POE with an immigrant visa. Several people have told you that you'll be fine, but you're still worried about something?

I asked, didn't say you were. Several people have told you not to worry and that things will be fine but you keep bringing up your worries over and over. Is there something wrong? If not, you have nothing to worry about, as has been pointed out over and over

There is no standard answer, it just depends on the CBP agent.  My wife came on K1 couple years ago. I went thru immigration with her, they just took her package and the dummy asked me if I had paid my taxes last year, I found this rather odd but answered of course I did, and then I told her it was part of the I-134 that I had to turn into the Embassy for the interview.

She later told me to get married within 90 days and then go to my local USCIS office and file in person for AOS.  I just said sure thing,  It been about 20 years since you went directly to a local USCIS office and filed in person.

What are they gonna ask tho 🧐

They will ask you for an updated/current address, go through your paperwork, give you some basic info on responsibility to maintain residence, give you a “welcome to America” brochure.

Nita’s “entered” 3x LOL

Last year we all went through the non-citizen line together, she went to the mystery room, the kids, cat, and I went and collected the bags, and we waited for her in the baggage area about a half hour before she came out.

They’ve never asked her anything other than updated address.

Everyone is nervous their first time through.

Maybe trivial, but related to this topic question, there is usually 2 lines at POE: 1 for US passport holders and the other for non-US passport holders. Would the beneficiary be able to come in US Passport holder line with me? Do we have to go in separate lines?

You can go through the line together.

Thanks, reason I ask is because fiancee does not speak English well, and would mostly likely stumble on her words from sheer nervousness when asked a question by the customs agent.

Common situation.......I've never heard of a problem.........my wife and I still go through the line together.
