Hi guys,

I had my interview on June 18 2019. The interview went well but one of the boxes on the affidavit of support was ticked wrong. I received a 221g with instructions to correct the error and send it back along with my passport. I did so the next day. My status on the CEAC website still says refused. Has anyone else been left in the dark like this? I have emailed but get the standard,  cookie-cutter response.  I have a young offender record from 25+ years ago that they were aware of during this whole process. Could that be the real issue and not the paperwork error? Thanks.

Montreal is slow with getting to documents when sending them back stuff. It's not unusual at all to wait 6-8 weeks for them. Hopefully it won't take that long .

Hi, sorry. Its spouse Visa. I think cr-1.

Just curious what was your documentary qualified date and when did they send you the interview letter for June 18? Thank you so much

I'm not sure about the other date, but we received the interview notice on may 5th

Thank you so much. The documentary qualified is when NVC approved all the documents you uploaded. Just trying to figure out where they are in our category. There are still CR1/IR1 who are waiting since April.
