Hello I am Vanessa ,

my husband has filed an I-130 for me in on 05/15/2019 by mail. We have only received 2 receipts that they have received the receipt that we have received via Post on 05/21/2019 since then we haven't heard back from them . I recently e-mailed them and they said they working on it. And is that true that USCIS in Frankfurt don't send Notices of Actions ? ,,

I don't have a case number nothing . I don't even know if they missing anything .

How long did it take ?

You won't receive anything for several months more. The average timeline is 12-14 months right now.

Sorry what does DCF stand for? I am new to this

Direct consular filing.  When you file with the consulate or embassy because they have a USCIS unit within the embassy or consulate.

Hi!

Frankfurt will send you NOA (notification of approval); online they say within 90 days. If the 90 days go without answer, you are authorized to email them concerning your Application. In my case, I emailed them after 90 days and they explained that "due to a change in office resources, our processing time for Form I-130 is over 90 days",

In my case, it took them 110 days.

So: do not worry if you do not receive immediate answer. You got the two pieces of paper i got too.

The next step will be the NOA (which still does not have a case number). After that, within 4/6 weeks from NOA, you will receive Packet 3 (just a letter with a checklist and your case number!). In my case, it took only 2 weeks! so, what took them longer for the NOA was gifted me back after ;)
