A few random questions for Abu Dhabi embassy

Hi everyone,

 

For those who've interviews in Abu Dhabi, can you please let me know the following (I have my IR-1 interview coming up very soon):

 

- How long in advance did you arrive?

- Is the waiting area outside shaded? It's particularly hot right now in the UE

- Did you have to bring your X-ray envelope? I know it says no on the instructions but just want to double check

- How long did the whole process take you?

- How was the general atmosphere?

I am not sure if you got answers to your above query but I guess u should be prepared for ur interview by now. I have got my IL today and the interview is 8th Sep in Abudhabi. All the best for ur upcoming interview and pls pls do share details of me of the enviornment there and the questions asked. I am bugging u specially as ur the only one I can find who has an upcoming interview in AbuDhabi for immigration of US. 

 

I would like to know one thing from you. After receiving email of interview from NVC did you login and registered your appointment online at Abudhabi US embassy? Is it like mandatory to do ? Because I tried and its not accepting my case number I guess may be as I got email today only and its friday so it will take time to update their system or so. Please do let me know about registering appointment online.

Hi! yes sure, thing. I will definitely share my experience. And thank you)) Fingers crossed for all of us!

Yes, I had to register my appointment. In my case, I had to wait a few hours and in your case, the weekend is most probably affecting your registration. Try again Saturday or Sunday I guess. Best of luck!!

I have not registered for appointment yet but as its saturday a holiday tomorrow so i am planning to go for medical tomorrow. I spoke to nmc but they said they just need the case number for their reference so I dont think appointment is required.
