Hi Hank, can we complete a CFO while waiting on administrative processing to complete?

Yes.   IR/CR-1 & K-1 can attend the CFO-GCP seminar any time.    Because of the extended dates for appt openings I usually suggest getting it done before the interview at the embassy.

Yes even without a passport.   Do need two picture IDs   (new Postal ID has a picture ;)  )

Alright, I have sent an email informing them of the situation just now.

Fortunately, I was able to have my CFO scheduled next week. I will just come back for the sticker when I get back my passport with visa. I hope they do contact me though although most likely I'll opt for a new medical since 10 days might be too short to get everything done.

Yes. I meant a 221g with no other checkmarks or request for any other document.

I know of a Filipina that was in extended AP before receiving her visa, embassy did contact her to ask if she could "get out of Dodge quickly" before they issued her visa .. it had less than a week of validity when she received it.     Her medical was close to expiring (6 months)

Yeah I'll definitely go with that option if it was offered to me. I'll just have to see this coming monday if they'll contact me.

Does the embassy give a notification upon receiving my passport? I have submitted it last week and going by 2Go tracking, it has been received there since Monday of this week. I have not received an email nor have I seen an update on my CEAC status, it's just still on Immigrant - AP. I've messaged the embassy about it and they just said they will resume processing my case when they receive the "required documentation". They only asked me to send my passport though so I don't know what they meant by that.

I spoke too early. My case status just flipped to Non-immigrant - AP. Embassy also called me, possibly will be issued tomorrow :)
