Yeah, I'm on Facebook. I usually join those things when friends send me a link just for the hell of it and then never go back to the site again. But as soon as I joined Facebook, a bunch of my former students from the international school in Italy where I taught found me and contacted me. I love being able to keep track of what they're doing, especially since they're all over the world. Good fun! :)

I'm on Facebook, mainly to stay in touch with family (my husband's family that is) back home in Canada.

I've never checked out MySpace. Is there any major difference between that and Facebook?

I find Facebook much more user friendly and less focused on having big flashy graphics and sound files on your page.

I have been on so many of the social sites (hi5, friendster, myspace) and facebook is my absolute favorite. I like the layout and it is just so user friendly and simple to use.

At first I was a little peeved when they opened it up to the general public (from only having colleges) but now I like that because so many of my friends who have moved to different countries are now on there.

It just makes it easier to keep in touch with people and update people on what is going on in your life.

What I like about MySpace is the music; I keep finding new bands that I can explore.

But there's a lot of things I don't like about it as well and I will delete anyone from my 'friends' that dares to post big flashy glittery graphics in my comments section!

I resisted joining for the longest time, but for some reason I broke down this weekend and set up my account on facebook. Already I've found a ton of people I haven't seen in a dog's age. I like it! :)
