Have you inquired about your case? You must be out of normal processing times now?

I have been waiting for 5 months for my interview in Miami. Filed in November 2019.

We filed September 2019, still waiting for our interview. 😩

I requested an update on our case first week of December and we got a letter on New Year’s Eve! Our interview was scheduled for Feb 2nd. It was such an easy process. Went in and out under 25 minutes. We spent about 5 min with the officer and she said, all is good. Hubby’s new GC is in the mail already. Best of luck to everyone!

We had our interview today after getting our notice last month. IO asked for updated documents (bank statements, tax bills, tax filings) as outlined in the letter. After that she asked us questions from the application to confirm our and kid’s identify. IO also added our latest kid to our packet since we filed back in 2019. Seemed pretty straightforward for a 10 minute meeting.

I had a joint interview for N400 and I751 in Chicago yesterday. I applied for I751 in Sept 2019 and had been at "ready to schedule an interview" since March 2020. I applied for citizenship in May 2021. When I got the interview letter it only mentioned the citizenship interview, but it turned out to be a joint interview for both. I had brought my husband with me and he joined me in the waiting room. When the officer came out to the waiting room she told him thanks for coming, but she needs to speak to me by myself first for the citizenship test. I went back and took the test, the questions were all from the booklet. After I passed the test and answered all the yes/no questions, she asked me if I had any material to update. I had brought updated copies of our property tax bill, home insurance, car insurance, as well as hard copies of some of the things I had previously submitted online. I also brought about 20 photos of us together at events or on vacation over the years. She scanned the new material and put copies in my file. She kept most of the photos and added them to our file.

Then she told me she would also be doing my I751 interview today (we did NOT know this in advance). She asked me if we own our house (we do), if we have any kids (we don't), and if we have ever been married before (first marriage for both of us). She looked over our documents for a couple fo minutes and then told me she was going to approve both the I751 and N400 for me. I got the piece of paper that says that I passed the test but they can't approve my application today (due to the pending I751). She then verbally confirmed that even though it says that, she is going to approve both applications and once the paperwork goes through I will receive an invitation to the oath ceremony. I asked if she wanted to speak to my husband but she said no, you submitted a lot of stuff and everything is in order. So technically he didn't need to be there - but we both got the impression that it made a difference to her that he came with me and was ready to come in. I will add that our case is not very complicated and we don't have any factors that would be a potential red flag for USCIS.

I am relieved that this process is almost done! I hope some of you have also head good news about your applications recently.
