I am a LIN filer and I have not had an update since "file received" mid September. My biometrics were taken late (walk-in 1/22). I have been checking applications 2000 numbers before me (LIN1990700***) and there are no updates what so ever. Just waiting patiently at this point for citizenship window to open!!

Very sorry to hear that! I have a friend that recently received an approval notice for her parents GCs. But it was a petition for alien relative, however they had a LIN case number! So at least LIN is making a little bit of progress 😁

I am also mid sept and also LIN. I got biometrics done in january 2020, but my last update is that case is recieved in mid sept.

So I am just getting a little anxious.

My husband filed in September and did finger prints around January 20, and our file is also LIN and no update since case received either .....

How to check VJ approval estimate on this site

If you create your timeline on VJ and keep it updated, you'll receive email updates about approval estimates.  The big caveat is that these are by no means guarantees, because they're based on user-submitted timeline data.  If anything, they're more helpful for getting a general sense of what's happening to other people with similar timelines to you - the date moving forward generally means that there's been some movement on these cases, and the date moving backward means there's not been movement.  It doesn't guarantee when your case will be approved, and it's not even really useful for planning purposes.

Just ran a few numbers to see where things stand at the YSC center.  There are a bunch of cases where cards were mailed starting about 65 cases after my husbands.  Hopefully we will hear something soon!

how did you find information to "run a few numbers." My wife also has her case at the YSC center

Hey Folks,

just got an email from USCIS stating that my card was ordered. :) I guessing means it was approved, right??? I haven’t seen the word “Approved”, but the email says the card was ordered and they will mail it to me.

I’m an EAC filer.

My updated timeline:

9/23 - I-751 sent

9/25 - Received date

9/26 - notified by USPS that package was delivered

9/27 - received texted message from USCIS saying that they’ve received it on September 25 - NOA date is 9/27

9/30 - check was deposited

10/3 - NOA received

10/29- Biometrics completed

6/25 - e-mail from USCIS saying: “Your case status: Card/ Document Production”

On June 25, 2020, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC199014****, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address. “

I-751 Timeline/ EAC - Vermont Service Center

9/23/19: I-751/ G-1145 sent by USPS Priority Mail

9/25/19: Received Date

9/26/19: Notified by USPS that the package was delivered (one day later... 🙄)

9/27/19: NOA1 Date (also the day USCIS texted me saying that they've received  my package on 9/25)

9/30/19: Check was cashed

10/3/19: Received NOA1 by mail with 18 months extension

10/11/19: Biometrics appointment notice

10/21/19: Date when I received my appointment letter

6/25/20: email from  USCIS saying that card is being produced

6/26/20: email from USCIS saying that case was approved

7/15/20: email from USCIS saying that card was ready to be picked up by USPS

7/16/20: email from USCIS saying that card was taken by USPS

7/17/20: I received the 10 year green card!!!!🙌😎

N-400 Timeline/ Online

9/22/20: Window opens and I sent my application online

10/1/20: Got my NOA from USCIS via mail (in which it is said that the notice date, received date, and priority date are 9/22 (the same day I submitted the application)).

5/15/21: Biometric  appointment scheduled

6/11/21: Biometrics completed

7/14/21: Interview scheduled for 8/9/2021 (however, I have moved, and even tough I had told USCIS that I moved in June 19, I still got an interview from my old address). I cancelled the interview and requested a new date.

9/8/21: New interview scheduled for 10/28/21

10/28/21: Interview day! Interviewer was super nice, not much of wait. I brought some documents, He told me that I did the favor of submitting more than enough documents online and he did not have to see any more documents and that he would recommend my case to be approved. (Also, he laughed a lot after seeing a picture of my husband and I with Rosie O'Donnell)

10/29/21: I checked on my USCIS that my oath ceremony was schedule for 11/10/21. It was really quick, actually the letter only arrived around 11/5, but they upload myUSCIS much quicker than USPS delivers the mail.

11/10/21: I became an american citizen and my journey here is over. Thank you everyone for the advice and good luck!
