Hi Guys,

Since we enrolled in paperless (GO Green) service, I can not print last year (2018) bank statement, do we need every month statement?

I only print out last 6 month statements!

Thank you

The instructions says the evidence should cover the period between your marriage and the filing. From reading a lot of threads on VJ, it seems that evidence of joint finances is one of the most important items USCIS looks at so I would provide more than just the last 6 months (at least that’s what I did). Maybe reach out to your bank? I know that some of them let your order the older statements that are no longer available online.  Good luck!

Seeing that someone else had their package sent back for sending it in too early, now I'm worried. My husband received his conditional permanent residency on December 14, 2017 and his temporary GC expires on December 14, 2019.  Does that mean if we sign, date, and mail everything on the 14th and they receive it several days later, that we're in the clear?

I'm just worried because the online calculator seems to tack an extra day onto the window (so we wouldn't be eligible to apply until the 15), but the 15th is a Sunday and it would be really inconvenient for either of us to take off work and go to a post office on a week day the next week.  I guess we could sign and date everything for the 15th and just mail the package off on the 14th?

What do you all think?

Got final word, the application is not going to be sent back and was accepted, strange considering other people's experiences.

I-751 NOA Date Sept 5th and got I-797 today.

I would advise to only send it on the earliest filing date USCIS provides.

The green card issue date and expiration date are never the same.

What do you mean by the issue date and expiry date are never the same?  I'm looking at his GC right now and the "resident since" date is December 14, 2017 and the expiry date is December 14, 2019?

I would assume that the 90 day window would begin on September 14, and I'm just a little confused by what the online calculator (which seems to be for naturalization rather than ROC) seems to be adding an extra day to the window.

I guess if we want to be safe we'd sign and date everything for the 15th even if we mail it on the 14th

Usually I have only ever seen the issue and expiry date to be different.

I would do as you say and sign then mail the application on the 15th to be on the safe side.

Wow, it has been 2 years already? Time sure flies!

Just finished our paperwork and heading to the post office. This time our stuff fit in a large envelope, which is shy of 17 ounces vs the massive box I sent for the CR-1! 🤣

Wishing everyone the best! 🥳

I used a FedEx Small box and could have included much more and it weighed 3LBs.

I sent our CR1 in a box and via USPS...I think it weighed as much as a new born baby! 😅

This time around is different for us and luckily, 16+ ounces did the trick. Now we wait...🙏

Best of luck to you!
