I've just got my I797, and would like to give you a little update on my timeline:

I-751 timeline/ EAC

9/23: I-751/ G-1145 sent by USPS Priority Mail

9/25: Received Date

9/26: Notified by USPS that the package was delivered (one day later... 🙄)

9/27: NOA1 Date (also the day on which USCIS texted me saying that they've received  my package on 9/25)

9/30: Check was cashed

10/3: Received NOA1 by mail with 18 months extension

Now is the time to try and relax because, as per the reports in this forum, I should not be contacted by them anytime soon. But, I can't lie that I am somewhat relieved with the I-767 on my hands.

Updating:

I received my Biometrics appointment today, 10/21. The notice date is 10/11 and the appointment is for 10/29.

10/28/21: Interview day! Interviewer was super nice, not much of wait. (Also, he laughed a lot after seeing a picture of my husband and I with Rosie O'Donnell)

10/29/21: I checked on my USCIS that my oath ceremony was schedule for 11/10/21. It was really quick, actually the letter only arrived around 11/5, but they upload myUSCIS much quicker than USPS delivers the mail.

Biometrics completed today at the East Hartford, CT ASC.  Our appointment was at 11 and we got there about 15 minutes early.  The place was deserted, with over 6-7 employees and only 2 other people there.  They saw my husband right away and we were done at 10:53 - before our official appointment time!

They did have a sign up saying they don't accept walk-ins, but considering how deserted it was, I'm not sure if that was true.

Now just to wait!

Hello guys

Anyone in California received biometric appointment letter?

Hello, filing from Pasadena CA here.

I'm nervously waiting for one... I got my extension on 7 October 19 (dated 4 October 19), and when I read in this thread seems like every other filers received their Biometric letter approx. 20 days after their Extension Letter. I'm a little nervous.... But then again, I probably shouldn't... but I am...

It varies a lot. Here in the forum the average is 15 days.

However, USCIS will tell you to contact them if you don’t receive it in a month.

Hi. Have you had any luck receiving your I-797? Just curious as mine is still hanging in the air lol.

Yes, we received it Wednesday. Have you filed a service request? They actually completed our service request in a timely manner, surprisingly, and then not long after that we got our NOA1 with a date of 10/17/19, which was when the SR  was completed!

Yes. I filed a service request on 10/10 and today received a letter dated as of 10/22 that I will receive my I-797 within 30 days from the notice.

What was your timeline if I may ask? How long should I anticipate to wait?

Thanks for any info given!

We filed our service request on 10/9 and they said it could take up to 30 days just to get the service request completed. I checked the case status this week online and to my surprise our service request was assigned & completed on the same day (10/17). They said they mailed a notice and we got it on Wednesday of this week and the notice was dated 10/17. It was the NOA1 with the 18 month extension. Hopefully you will not have to wait any longer than we did!
