DS160 - relatives in the US - format questions

So my fiancee successfully got to the US on the K1 visa and we are going to get legally married at the courthouse this week! We are planning on having a wedding reception in a few months and her family will need to apply for tourist visas to attend. I have a few questions regarding the relatives in the US question:

1. My fiancee plans to change her name taking my last name and making her maiden name her middle name. However, I found out that in Maryland at least, your marriage certificate contains your maiden name and instead of formally changing your name, you just start using your new name. Since we will have been married very recently, they will not have her new name on many records at that point. On the DS160 for relatives in the US, Does her family write her new name or her maiden name?

2. My fiancee will be going through Adjustment of Status by that point, so when they ask for her legal status, would it be Legal Permanent Resident, or Other?

3. As a son-in-law to her parents and brother-in-law to her sister, I would be classified as a non-immediate relative, correct?

Thank you for any help!

1.  Married name.

2.  Other: Adjusting from K1 visa.

3.  You are not their immediate relative.

Your wife's name will not affect their approval/denial. Even if she uses her married name, her relationship with the b2 applicant is specified on the form (their daughter/sibling) so any difference in last names is quite obvious. Using married name is also a nice proof of bonafide marriage.
