We are at NVC stage, just got the number and paid the fees.

Question: Ds260 form, can I (US petitioner) fill it in for my French husband? He is not very fluent in English.

Does the form need to be signed by him (manually on paper) and then scanned and uploaded?

I'm im not sure for the filling, but everything is electronic so he doesn't have to sign it manually on paper, that's for sure!

Hi everyone ,

sorry if my question is a little bit stupid but I better want to ask instead staying in the dark lol

Our file was received at NVC and we are waiting for our Case number .

we took a look on the DS-260 and we feel a little bit confused ..

by who the DS-260 has to be file ? My husband is the USC .

(previous adresses , work etc is it about my past or his ?)

thank you you in advance for your answers 🙏

The DS-260 has to be filed by the applicant (so by you)

You will have to answer a part about your current job (but without giving any paperwork).

Your husband, the USC, is most likely your sponsor so, in his part, he will have to submit work & taxes paperwork.
