Hi everyone,

I've searched through old posts and I couldn't find the exact answers I was looking for....so I'm looking for some help.

We're in the process of applying for a K-1 visa.

I've seen different information in different places regarding when a police report is needed. Is it 6 or 12 months for living in another country?

For instance,

I lived for 11 months in Qatar on a working visa. I left just before my visa finished and was basically backpacking around the country so didn't have a permanent address. I wasn't in any trouble with the police.

If I have to get all the police reports....does anyone know how I would go about applying for them?

Thanks all for your help

For K-1 if you reside in a country 6 months or longer you need a police clearance.
