My wife entered here on August 2005 on CR1 visas.

It's time to apply for her Adjust of Status. Can you please suggest what all I need to file that will make this process smooth.

Please advice.

Thanks,

Lomesh

You do not need to do AOS as she has a greencard..... what you do need to do is file to remove the conditions....

Correct, I think that is what they mean, just used the wrong terminology, I think they meant adjusting status from conditional to permanent green-card.

Yes Read the I-751 guide.

Hi Nigaenola,

I can see in your signature that your green card did not arrive after you received the approved information for your first card, I think I am in the same situation, need to wait for 30 days to get information form USCIS after the e-mail that says that the card was ordered, could you please let me know what did you do ? can you just send the i-90 or do you have to wait for their instructions?

I thought I could take a breake on this procedures but is like the never ending story :( .

Good luck with your next file for the i-751.!

I made an infopass appointment to check it had actualy been sent... the were able to tell me that it was mailed on Nov 17th and had not been returned to them as undeliverable.... so I completed the i-90 and sent it off assuming I would not have to pay the fee as the instruction say if card not recieved no fee payable..... but the i-90 was returned to me saying the fee was payable as it had been mailed... so I wasted a few weeks there but once I e-filed the i-90 thing went ok from there just takes ages.....

Thanks so much for your answer, I have an info pass apointment for the 14th.

I assume that if they say there that they mailed it I better send the check and photos and everything with the 1-90 right?
