Just did a walk-in for my bio metrics appointment. I was the first person to arrive at the Alexandria Support Center around 7:30 Am. The guard asked my appointment letter and noticed that my appointment is for 10/10. He asked me to wait few minutes to talk to an officer. 5 minutes later, I got called by the officer who asked me why  I am doing a walk-in. I told him that I will be abroad during the next 3 weeks. And he said ok. They gave me a ticket and I was out of the building within 15 minutes and successfully done with bio-metrics. My status just changed to "We are actively reviewing your case".

^^ Good to hear!

I am about to attempt walk-in at Austin. Hopefully it will be a success.

And forgot to add that my case completion time now dropped by a month from May 2020 to April 2020.

Did your status update change also?

successful early walk-in today. original appointment was at 10/10/19

egov website almost instantaneously updated the status to Initial Review

myuscis website still has Biometrics Scheduled status but my estimated completion time has gone from April 2020 to March 2020.

myuscis website updated to: We have reviewed your biometrics.

Beneath it they have a second estimate of wait time which is 5 months. So now there are two estimates on that page, one showing 6 months which they call estimated completion time and the other estimated wait time 5 months. Very confusing.

I submitted the N-400 today for my mom and I remembered about this forum. Everybody here is so helpful.

I added info on the google sheet. Will be checking in from time to time :)

My wife has her biometrics appointment next week.   I just happened to login and see the estimated time is now 10 months instead of 9 months. I believe our office is the Santa Ana, CA office.  Anyone else seeing times pushed back?

I am starting to file n400 online now. I have been lawful permanent resident since Feb 2014 (5+ years), married to a U.S. citizen spouse since 2012.

Came across this question..

What is your basis for eligibility?

I am at least 18 years of age and have been a lawful permanent resident of the United States for at least 5 years.

I am at least 18 years of age and have been a lawful permanent resident of the United States for at least 3 years. In addition, I have been married to and living with a U.S. citizen spouse for the last 3 years, and my spouse has been a U.S. citizen for the last 3 years at the time I filed my Form N-400.

Which option should I select? Seems like both options hold true in my scenario.

Thanks in advance!
