Hey how are you? I hope your interview went well. Can you tell us how it was and if they are doing same day oath at the Washington/Fairfax field office. Thanks

My wife just got done with the interview today.  According to her there were only few people waiting in the wait area.  All finished within 10 min she walked into the interview room and oath was scheduled for the following week.  She was told that automated email would be sent with date/time later, but she asked for a manually override date/time slot and the interviewer kindly gave her few choices.  So she picked the earliest available date/time which is for the next week.

Still no update on the online account :( Is there any other way to check on the status other than the online account?

Did you check both the old and the new websites?

Congratulations to your wife! We appreciate your story. May I know what documents she brought with her and and what documents the officer asked her?

Thank you. I just created an account on the old website. Both are now showing the same status - the last update being  the one from Feb 27th - 'Interview was scheduled.' I did sign up for email alerts now though. So, hoping one of these  get updated soon. Thank you again.

We brought the docs whatever is listed on the interview notification.  tax transcripts, PR card, divorce/marriage certificate, etc.. although it was not listed as required, we also brought the auto/medical insurance card, screenshot of my retirement accounts, pix of us on trips etc... Basically you can't never have enough and you don't know what they may ask.  just bring whatever you can think of... more than whatever is listed on the interview schedule.  Though they asked our tax transcripts only...and nothing more.  We uploaded lots of docs online when the application was submitted online... I guess we were well prepared so they didn't ask much other than the tax transcripts for the last 3 years.

Another approval here.

Interview this morning at 8am at the Indy USCIS field office.

Done by 8.30, maybe before.

3 questions from the civic knowledge test and a reading/writing sentence...

Checked MyUSCIS account tonight, it already had the approbation message (though the officer at the interview had told me I had passed, but I prefer a written confirmation).

Waiting for the ceremony date.

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.
